Academbly is a student productivity app at academbly.com โ free to use. This page explains, in plain language, what we store and why.
What we collect
- Account info. Email and sign-in details when you create an account. Passwords are hashed โ we never store them in plain text.
- Your app data. Focus sessions, categories, tasks, courses, and settings you enter, so cloud sync works across your devices.
- Sign-in providers. If you use Google sign-in, we receive whatever profile info that provider shares with us.
- Basic technical info. Things like browser type and IP address, mainly for keeping the app running and secure.
How we use it
To run the app: sign you in, save and sync your data, and keep things working. We don't sell your data. We use hosting and auth services (like Supabase) to operate Academbly.
Keeping your data
We keep your account and app data while you use Academbly. You can delete your account from Settings when that option is available, or stop using the service anytime.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service can promise perfect security.
Changes
We may update this page occasionally. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
